Urban Legend II
Taken Sunday, May 14, 2006 on St. Clarens Avenue, Toronto.
Similar to my previous post about baby pigeons, they say that baby squirrels are another urban legend--something that just doesn't exist. Well, I'm here to report that that is simply not true.

Bound For Moving On....if only
Taken Friday, May 13, 2006 on the southbound Yonge Subway (at Queen Station, for those who appreciate the full story), Toronto.
This poor bugger/beggar was in a pretty bad way yesterday. He had nowhere to go, nothing to do except exist. He appeared to be going back and forth on the Yonge line, trying to sleep when he could. He was dirty, unkempt, 'aromatic', and alone.

Sex Advice from Vandals

Taken Tuesday, May 9, 2006 in the Don Valley, Toronto.
While coming home every evening, the Bloor-Danforth Subway passes over the beautiful Don Valley. One of the best parts of the valley is the forested slope which leads from the old Castle Frank High School (now Rosedale Heights School of the Arts--pish posh) down to Bayview Avenue. Something odd struck me whilst looking down at it the other day: a mattress. With graffiti on it. With....profane graffiti on it. I HAD to take a picture. I didn't take its advice, however.

Eileen
Taken Saturday, May 6th, 2006 in Sherkston, Ontario.
While out for a drive in the country yesterday, I stumbled upon an old service station between Sherkston and Crystal Beach on the northern shore of Lake Erie. The building's been on this site forever, but this is the first time I'd seen such a lean.
Stay tuned for this photo series' sequel: "Woodpile".

Southbound
Taken October 25, 2005 at Lawrence Station, Toronto.
Which is creepier: taking the woman's picture or changing trains?

Welcome!
A Warm Welcome to those of you visiting from the Toronto Area Photobloggers site. For some reason, I noticed my counter getting higher than the usual 1 or 2 per week, and I thank you for making the dial spin. Hopefully you'll find something to raise YOUR eyebrow while you're here. Cheers!
